Umoja is where people sell digital products — courses, templates, ebooks, presets, sample packs — and get paid to the account they already use. Buyers pay with M-Pesa and download instantly. Creators withdraw to M-Pesa, Airtel Money or a bank. Nobody waits on a wallet they cannot cash out.

For buyers

Pay how you already pay
M-Pesa, card, bank transfer or mobile money, handled by Paystack. You do not need an account to buy — an email address is enough, and that is where your download goes.
Get it immediately
Your files unlock on the confirmation page the moment payment clears. No shipping, and no waiting for a seller to send anything.
Keep it
Orders stay in your account and can be downloaded again. You can look one up with its reference and the email you bought it with, even without signing in.

Most of what makes a marketplace trustworthy is invisible until something goes wrong. These are the decisions that decide whether it does.
Every shilling is traceable
Balances are not a number we edit. They are derived from an append-only ledger, so a payout can always be reconciled against the sales that produced it.
A payment is never counted twice
Payment callbacks arrive more than once — that is a when, not an if. Every money-touching operation is keyed so it takes effect exactly once.
Refund protection on every order
If a file is wrong, missing or not what was described, you open a dispute from the order and get your money back. It is the default, not a goodwill gesture.
Licences the platform stands behind
Sellers choose from licence terms Umoja defines rather than writing their own, so what a buyer is allowed to do can never contradict the platform's own promise.
Built for the connection you have
Pages are rendered on the server and images are resized before they are sent. This has to work on mobile data, not only on an office connection.
Payouts to real accounts
Checked with the payment provider before a withdrawal is attempted, so money does not leave for an account number that turns out not to exist.
